On 13 September 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has issued a statement on decision by the U.S department of Treasury on Cambodian businessman Mr. Ly Yong Phat and conglomerate L.Y.P group on their official website.
According to the statement, Ministry of Foreign Affairs express deep regret over the unjust decision announced by the U.S department of Treasury targeting Cambodian businessman Mr. Ly Yong Phat, his conglomerate L.Y.P group and four related business.
